ZENSO HIGH
Design by Formstelle, 2022The ZENSO HIGH lounger adds a high-back chair to the ZENSO chair family. The basic formal motif of the Enso circle from Japanese calligraphy has been continued here. The shape of the back reflects this in an exaggerated, circular free form.
This expressive gesture makes the lounger appear sculptural and is at the same time an invitation to make yourself comfortable – put your feet up on ZENSO POUF. The striking cross-wood frame supports and carries the cantilevered back shell. The adjustable head cushion can be individually adjusted to the respective size. The lounger is characterised by a high level of seating comfort.

Ensõ – the expression of the moment
The expressive wooden frame incorporates two floating circles, the seat and back of the chair. Actually, the family of chairs should have been called Ensõ. The round circles follow the motif of the Ensõ, a symbol in Japanese calligraphy.
