Former coffee roasters with café
Authentic charm meets at the Mahlefitz, a passionate coffee roaster that serves hand-brewed old-school coffee at the adjoining café. Graphite grey stone floor, industrial windows in metal – what sounds like rough factory construction at first, turns out to be an oasis of the finest aromas: the smell of freshly roasted coffee and home-baked cake fills the room to every corner.
Looking at stacked jute sacks filled with coffee beans, impressive industrial machines that roast and grind, you can comfortably enjoy your coffee in the front part of the café. No question, what appealed to us, to help our chair family NONOTO to a new home – at least temporarily!
The sculptural character of NONOTO and NONOTO BAR merges with the architectural elements to form a symbiosis. Our furniture works equally in different contexts and adapts to the circumstances. Especially for the photo series in the Mahlefitz we have developed the material and colour concept for the room.
