TAUT

Klemens Grund,

TAUT – the light table to lock together. Architect Bruno Taut was the inspiration for the name of the table. Throughout his life, he was fascinated by Asian culture with its restrained gracefulness and clear mind-set.
This mentality served as the starting point for the design. The objective was to create a light, well crafted, reduced and collapsible table that is suited for a variety of life situations.

The slightly flared round table legs bear the load like columns. Cross frames braced with wooden wedges ensure a firm footing. With their soft curves, the table edges serve as an aesthetic and tactile contrast. Here, traditional craftsmanship meets ingenious aesthetics.
