PELLE CORD
Design by Lorenz+Kaz, 2025With the PELLE CORD chair, a piece of traditional craftsmanship returns to the present day. The seat, woven by hand from paper cord, is not only visible craftsmanship, but also an expression of sustainable design: The paper cord is made of 100 % paper, sealed with a waxed surface. The weave is light and resilient. The characteristic weave follows the shape of the chair and gives it an inviting feel. It offers a high level of seating comfort without any additional upholstery. The chair‘s low weight makes it flexible to use.
PELLE CORD stands for the visible combination of function and design. The construction and weaving form a unit that is comprehensible and precisely crafted. The chair is designed to be durable and can be repaired or reupholstered if necessary. This ensures that its quality is maintained for many years.
