MDF

Medium density fibreboard (MDF) is made of wood fibres that are pressed using pressure, and heat and with the help of binding agents. This material is an all-rounder: it is solid and homogeneous and can be cut and sanded like wood. The MDF that we use comes under emission class 1. A homogeneous wood material is manufactured using fine-fibred waste and thinning wood, lignified plant material and/or recycled wood carefully grouted lengthways and widthways. Its edges are smooth and solid and can be shaped without special edging. We solely use MDF for our CODE line of shelves.
