CAB20

DE – Hamburg, 2018 | Hotel

Hotel for urban nomads

The cabin hotel CAB20 is casual like a hostel, but comfortable and stylish like a hotel. The cabin, the refuge in the smallest space, offers enough room for individual privacy and leaves more room for community. With its reduction to the essentials, the novel hotel concept follows the trend towards microliving. Even before the CAB20 was built, the area was a focal point for urban art and refugee initiatives in the former B20 cultural centre, a short-term community project. The culture of sharing and intercultural exchange have been written into the concept for the hotel. Building on the history of house number 20, the murals and artworks in the hotel are also based on the work of local street artists.
