Revitalise an urban office building: More space, light and class

This project is the renovation of a forty-year-old urban office building. The exterior facades and the functional layout of all floors were completely renewed. The administrative building, which was closed on the outside and tight and dark on the inside, became an open, spacious and inviting place.
The new building façade was designed to prevent overheating in summer and minimise heat loss in winter. To achieve this, white vertical louvres were installed to give Huis van Roosendaal a distinctive look while blocking direct sunlight and reflecting daylight.

The furnishing of the offices with generous ZEITRAUM tables in round, rectangular and hyperelliptical, as well as chairs and bar stools, gives the rooms a high-quality and natural ambience. The solid walnut tables are fitted with central cable outlets for the use of communication equipment.
