Trail’s Edge

CA – Whistler, 2020 | Residential

Among cedars, firs and spruces

Among cedars, firs and spruces stands the Trail’s Edge. The choice of materials reflects nature into the living spaces; stone walls made of basalt and wooden slats give the interior natural textures. Closed off at the entrance façade, the room opens up to the surroundings to the east. Interacting with the surrounding trees, wooden columns extend the entire height of the building. In the open-plan living room, the MORPH PLUS surrounds a cantilevered natural wood table, and the MORPH bar chairs made of walnut line up along the solid marble top.
