Open and transparent
The former headquarters of the Royal Netherlands Army has been converted into a modern office and meeting place for the government. A transparent plinth includes general features such as the entrance zone, a café, a restaurant and landing work places. All office functions are housed in the twelve levels. The removal of the many interior walls has led to more light, air, openness and transparency.
